Book Publication – After the Spotlight. Cemeteries operate as quiet but enduring forms of public record. Unlike official archives housed in institutions, they exist in open, shared landscapes where history is inscribed directly into the physical environment. Each gravestone contains fragments of information, names, dates, relationships, symbols, and epitaphs, that together form a decentralized documentation of a community.
