La Chimera Main on End SequenceRachel Fazio
In this sequence I wanted to expand the warmth of the existing palette in the movie La Chimera, featuring illustrations reminiscent of the Italian countryside in the film. As the film is about an archaeologist turned grave robber, I wanted to use cursive reminiscent of what I think Arthur (the main character)’s handwriting would look like.
I Found the F by BroadcastRachel Fazio
This visualizer features my friend Diego Apolito’s improvised dancing to the song “I Found the F” by Broadcast. Every take was done listening to the song from beginning to end without stopping and every clip in the edit is taken from that point in the song in which Diego was dancing.
vinyl is magicRachel Fazio
This poster represents many hours of research on the process of inventing the vinyl records, their mechanical construction, environmental impact, and modern culture. For this object deep-dive project I aimed to fully capture my fascination and excitement towards the vinyl record. The mere fact that we are able to record sound by engraving sound waves into a single spiral onto polyvinyl chloride? Absolutely magical.
